The current conflict in Iran has caused a significant increase in the price of your heating oil, and other heating fuels including natural gas and propane. Gasoline and diesel fuel prices are also being affected.

We want you to know that like you, we are very concerned about these unwelcomed price spikes. And we also want to ensure you that these price increases are truly out of our control, and our company is not making additional profits while this conflict continues.

The increase in energy prices is once again an indication that all of us are impacted by a global economy – an economy that is driven in large part by the energy products we all rely on.

Since the Iran conflict began the price of crude oil on worldwide markets has increased by over 20%. And since heating oil, diesel and gasoline are produced from crude oil, prices for these fuels are impacted immediately. Unfortunately, we are forced to pass along those increases – that can occur daily – to our customers.

We know these prices create real pressure for households and businesses, and we are committed to being transparent about why they are happening. Our employees are working to manage these impacts as responsibly as possible while continuing to keep you and your family safe and warm.
