We know you see it, and we see it too: Energy prices are increasing everywhere you look. It’s not always easy to deal with and we understand the impact it has on our customers and everyone else relying on various energy sources.
We understand this because it impacts us and other energy providers as well.
How much have prices increased?
Compared to last year, gasoline prices have risen more than a dollar per gallon; natural gas prices have increased more than 150%; and crude oil prices are up to more than $91 per barrel, which are costs we haven’t seen in several years.
Electricity prices have also increased as a result of the natural gas price increase, as many power plants rely on natural gas to produce electricity. In addition to that, wholesale propane prices have recently reached their highest weekly average levels since February 2014 according to www.MarcellusDrilling.com

What does this all mean?
We’re sharing this with our customers and other readers who may happen upon this article to simply show that we’re not unaffected by these price changes. The costs to us go up as well, and in turn force our hand in increasing our prices for our customers’ fuel.
As a community-based company we’ve always considered ourselves to be “in the trenches” with our customers, and this instance is no different. We will also celebrate the moment energy prices drop, and will be here to answer any questions you all may have.
Please reach out and talk to us about how we can help you reduce energy costs or more easily handle payments. If you’re having trouble with your bills, please call us. We will do our best to work with you if you contact us before you fall behind on payments.
